Keep Chicago/Illinois Beautiful invites you to an interactive, activity based environmental workshop on Saturday, 3/05/11, 4/09/11
from 9am-1pm at the Chicago Center for Green Technology located at 445 North Sacramento Boulevard.
A limited number of seats are available for current teachers as well as students of education training to be teachers to attend the workshop at no cost. Please complete and send in your registration form today! You are eligible for one (1) workshop only!
At this workshop you will receive:
- Hands-on activities and all the materials to teach these activities
(the materials were written by teachers and our trainers are teachers)
- K-8 Curriculum (aligned with the State of Illinois Goals for
Learning)
- Enrichment materials
- Introduction to "Clean Sweep USA" a United States Department
of Education supported program which provides interactive web-based learning
- Tour of the Chicago Center for Green Technology which is a national award-
winning United States Environmental Protection Agency “Platinum” level
building
- Merit Certificate of Attendance
- Four (4) CPDU's for current teachers
- Opportunity to become a Chicago “Waste in Place” teacher trainer
- Eligibility for “Student or Teacher of the Year Award”
- Opportunity to network with local area teachers and university
students
